Coping Up With CLAT Entrance Exam 2016

CLAT is a national test, which is organized for admission to 17 leading national universities in India. However, other law institutes or universities across the country also use the CLAT scores to fill their law seats. One can take part in the integrated undergraduate programs in Law after the higher secondary education or grade 12th . Since its inception from 2008, it has become the first and the foremost choice of the law aspirants.

About CLAT exam

CLAT is a recognized non-statuary body, which conducts the annual CLAT exam for the students who are striving to take admission to reputed law universities in India. These universities offer bachelor as well as master level programs for the aspirants.

Paper pattern and syllabus

CLAT is a two-hour online test with objective questions. It has five sections to assess your general aptitude or knowledge, logical reasoning skills, knowledge of current affairs, elementary mathematics, numerical ability, legal aptitude and English comprehension skills. If you aspire to crack the CLAT entrance exam 2016, you should focus on all the sections with much care, as every section is important.

If you are an aspirant of a postgraduate level CLAT 2016 aspirant, you should possess deep knowledge of constitutional law, jurisprudence, criminal law, international law, contracts, IPR, Torts etc.

Guidelines to apply for CLAT 2016

This year Rajeev Gandhi  National University of Law (RGNUL) Patiala will conduct the online test of CLAT. Candidates have to register themselves for CLAT 2016 Online Application. The aspirants require generating a login and password for that. They have to upload some necessary documents like their mark sheets of grade tenth and twelfth along with a recent photograph of the candidate with his signature and parent/guardian signatures.

Once you have finished filling the online application, you need to submit an application fee of Rs 4000 in online or offline mode. You can use the debit card, credit card or net banking for the online mode of fee submission however in case of offline mode of remitting the fee you can do it through bank challan facility of ICICI Bank.

There are some important points, which you should always keep in mind while filling the online application form:

  • Make sure to have all the important documents like mark sheets, photograph and signature with you at the time of online application process.
  • Read all the important instructions and guidelines before applying for the CLAT. It will save your time.
  • Note down the size of the documents that you need to submit and resize or crop them according to the required size limit.
  • Ensure to have a smooth and uninterrupted internet connection
